Waffle the LandyCamper: Defender 90 Rooftent (1 at LandyCampers)

Waffle is our lovingly restored and uniquely converted Defender 90 LandyCamper, manufactured in 2000. She is the perfect companion for any solo adventurer or up to two people travelling together. Waffle is sturdy and rugged, but easy to drive and manoeuvre thanks to the shorter wheelbase.

Suitable for up to 2 people she is fitted with a high quality roof-tent, unique to LandyCampers, which folds out to the driver's side creating a larger-than-queen-sized bed, with a comfortable foam mattress, included bedding, windows on all 4 sides, skylight windows with blinds for a unique "sleeping under the stars" feel, and attachable large annexe room.

To the passenger's side and rear a 270 degree 'bat-wing' awning extends the cover and shade to surround all 3 sides of the vehicle, meaning access to the front and rear can be protected from the elements and giving a spacious shaded area to cook and relax!

The rear section of Waffle has been thoughtfully converted into a 'lounge' area, with a custom storage unit that contains all the included equipment, and doubles as an indoor table, for working or dining if the weather turns for the worse. Fairy lights are fitted, of course!

She is carefully restored and improved for excellent drivability and safety - including upgraded suspension, brakes and clutch, and high output LED headlights for safe night driving.

Waffle comes fully equipped with a variety of high quality camping equipment, with everything necessary for a true adventure included as standard, no basic gear is an optional extra!
